A builders clean needs more than a standard house-cleaning checklist
Post-construction properties can vary enormously depending on the stage of the build, the trades involved and the residue left behind. SOS Cleaning assesses the site information and confirms the work that is appropriate for the surfaces and condition present. The written quote defines the agreed cleaning stage and pricing method.
Common items we can include
- General construction dust removal from agreed accessible surfaces
- Vacuuming and mopping of suitable floor areas
- Bathrooms, kitchens and cabinetry where included
- Internal glass, tracks or detailed finishing items where quoted
- Final presentation cleaning before handover where agreed
- Residue removal only after suitability is assessed
- Heavy waste, hazardous material or specialist restoration only if expressly agreed
- Additional labour or variations managed in accordance with the written quote
Residue, surfaces and site readiness
Construction residue can require different methods and can present a risk of damage if treated incorrectly. Paint, adhesive, grout, silicone, cementitious residue and similar materials are therefore not treated as automatically removable. If the condition differs materially from the information used for the quote, the work may need to pause while the scope is clarified.
